Raymond Lawrence Davis, age 83, a resident of Springdale, Arkansas passed away April 26, 2013 at his home. He was born August 18, 1929 in Paul's Valley, Oklahoma, the son of Melvin Henry and Leona Baker Davis.
He was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Westville, Oklahoma.
As a father, he was a hard worker and set an exemplary example as a family man, raising four children.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife of 60 years, Marvine Davis, two children, Janice Forrester and Ronald Davis.
Survivors include his wife, Irma Davis of the home; two sons, Donald Davis of California and Randy Davis of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; two step sons, Robert Welch of Texas and Bill Welch of Pennsylvania; one brother, Earnest D. Davis of Missouri; three sisters, Holly Freeze of Ohio, Ruthie Vanderwoude and Cathy Davis both of Missouri; three granddaughters, Heather Forrester and Tanya Forrester Reed both of Lincoln, Arkansas and Savannah Davis of Oklahoma; one grandson, Joseph Laliberte-Davis of California; seven great grandchildren, Kassandra Doyle, and Halen Auxier and Jason Hunter of Lincoln, Arkansas, Ryker King of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, Maranda Negrete of Rogers, Arkansas and Samantha Laliberte-Davis of California; two great great grandchildren, Macy Guist of Evansville, Arkansas and Jusiah Negrete of Rogers, Arkansas.
