Graveside service for Bobbie Curtis Rinehart will be 10 a.m., Wed., Aug. 5, at Ft. Gibson National Cemetery with Brother Charles Duvall officiating. Burial with military honors by the U.S. Navy are under the direction of MMS-Payne Funeral Home & Crematory. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Tues. 1-5 p.m.
1. Bob passed away Sat., Aug. 1, 2015, at Hillcrest Hospital Claremore at the age of 89.
The son of Opal Robinson "O.R." Rinehart and Myrtle (King) Rinehart was born April 6, 1926, in Lincoln, AR. Bob graduated from Cane Hill High School in Cane Hill, AR, in 1944. He then enlisted with the U.S. Navy serving during WWII. On Feb. 24, 1948, Bob married Velma Louise Boyd in Lincoln, AR. In 1972, they moved to Stilwell, and in 1976, they made their home at Lake Tenkiller. Bob enjoyed fishing and coon hunting with his grandsons. Bob was a 69 year member of the American Legion and enjoyed working Bingo nights. He was a member of Barber Baptist Church in Welling and a lifetime member of the DAV and VFW.
He is preceded in death by his son, Curtis Boyd Rinehart; and his son, Curtis Boyd Rinehart.
Survivors include his wife, Velma of the home; son, Bobby Dean Rinehart of the home; grandchildren: Bobby Kay Rinehart and Bryan Dean Rinehart both of Welling; and 6 great-grandchildren.
