Geraldine Janet Stickler
92, a resident of Lincoln, Arkansas, passed away March 17, 2011 at her home in Lincoln, Arkansas, due to complications of Alzheimer’s. She was born October 11, 1918 in Yale, South Dakota, the daughter of Cleo and Mary Ingersoll Foote.
She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Lincoln, Arkansas and was a longtime member of the Burline Hilton Circle. She was very active in the Lincoln Senior Center where she volunteered many hours and spent many afternoons playing cards there. She also volunteered at the Recycling Center, Grace Place and the Doctor's Museum all in Lincoln, Arkansas.
She was preceded in death by her husband, L.G. "Stick" Stickler, three brothers, Merle Foote, Cloyce Daniel Foote and John Henry Foote.
Survivors include two sons, Joe E. Stickler of Sapulpa, Oklahoma and James E. Stickler of Prairie Grove, Arkansas; two daughters, Joy Smith of Prairie Grove, Arkansas, and Disa I. Almeta "Judy" of Lincoln, Arkansas; one sister, Effie Bird of New Hall, California; seven grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
Memorial Service will be held Monday, March 21, 2011 - 2:00 P.M. at Luginbuel Chapel in Prairie Grove, Arkansas with Dan Wooley and Herman Cox officiating.
