77 a resident of Prairie Grove, Arkansas, passed away December 29, 2010 at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville, Arkansas. He was born April 1, 1933 in Washington County, Arkansas, the son of Virgil and Violet Parrish Bowling.

James served in the United States Air Force.

Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Wilma Johnson Bowling of the home; one son, Larry D. Bowling of Charlestown, Massachusetts; three sisters, Lorine Ledbetter of Fayetteville, Arkansas and Oleta Thomas of Farmington, Arkansas and Glenda McFee of Walls, Mississippi.

Family will receive friends on Sunday afternoon from 2:00-3:00 P.M. at Luginbuel Funeral Home in Prairie Grove.

Funeral Service will be held Monday January 3, 2011- 10:00 A.M. at Luginbuel Chapel in Prairie Grove, Arkansas with David Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Baptist Ford Cemetery in Greenland, Arkansas, there will be no graveside services held at the cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the charity of your choice.
