Sarah Brooke Thurman
passed away December 25, 2023, a memorial visitation in her honor will be Thursday, December 28, 2023 at 6:00pm at Grace Gardens Funeral Home.
Sarah Brooke Thurman was born in Fayetteville AR on May 25, 1973 to Jennifer Joye Thurman and William Arthur Thurman, Sr.
Growing up in Prairie Grove, Arkansas, Brooke was the youngest of 5 children. She was determined to keep up with her siblings and excelled at any endeavor she pursued. Sports, academics, dance, anything she did. Brooke had a steadfast sense of right from wrong, and encouraged others around her to make the right choices. Brooke was a force to be reckoned with.
On August 15th 1989, Brooke was in an accident that forever changed her life, and the lives of those who loved her. From that moment on Brooke required full-time care. For nearly 35 years her Mother, Jennifer, saw to it that she received the highest level of care possible. Jennifer sought to make each day, the best day possible, for both of them. Though the accident had taken Brooke’s voice from her, it did not take her expressive spirit. She communicated beautifully with the ones she loved, and the ones who loved her. So many people were touched by her spirit. Her siblings, nieces, nephews, caregivers, doctors, and friends. Brooke will forever be missed, her strength, her determination, and most of all, her smile
She was preceded in death by her Father, William A Thurman Sr. Her Grandparents, Thelma Brown Eubanks and George Eubanks; Fred Brown; Leon and Lillian Thurman. She is survived by her mother Jennifer Thurman; Her Aunt, Linda LeDuc; Her siblings Bill Thurman, (Candace,) Shelley Williams, (Todd,) Sam Thurman (Marlana,) Guy Thurman (Anne,); Her 10 nieces & nephews & 3 Great Nephews.
