James A. Jones
74, a resident of Lincoln, Arkansas, passed away October 16, 2009 at Northwest Medical Center in Springdale, Arkansas. He was born September 6, 1935 in Porum, Oklahoma, the son of Claude and Alice Brasuell Jones.
James served 2 years in the United States Army stationed in Germany, later serving 4 years in the Oklahoma National Guard. He graduated from Stilwell High School in 1955 and retired from the Arkansas Highway Departmen
Survivors include his wife, Wilma Jones of the home; five children, Karen Barnes of Siloam Springs, Arkansas, Bobby Russell and his wife, Dianna, James "Bo" Jones Jr. and his wife, Kim, Goy Jones and his wife, Vicky, and Delana Russell all of Lincoln, Arkansas; eleven grandchildren, Monica Russell Shue, Adam Barnes, Jennifer Huffmaster, Jimmie Chambliss, Crystal Sisemore, Jessie Jones, Madison Jones, Michael Hoops, Denny Jones, Debbie Jones and Devin Jones and eleven great grandchildren.
Funeral Service will be held Monday, October 19, 2009 - 1:00 P.M. at the Hall Cemetery Pavilion in Natural Dam, Arkansas with Jack Thompson officiating.
There will be no visitation held at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be: Gene Hollaway, Preston Roberts, Curt Roberts, Wayne Lee, Duck Pergeson, Frankie Curtis and Jack Risley.
Honorary Pallbearers: Leroy Tindle, Kenneth Farris, Kenneth Decker, Eugene Mooney and Boyce Davis.
