Helena Inez Jensen

Helena Inez Jensen, 86, of Lincoln, Arkansas, passed away Saturday, March 15, 2008 in Fayetteville. She was born April 10, 1921, in Lincoln, Arkansas the daughter of Conrad Peter and Ruby Celeste (Holt) Jenson. She was a Veteran of the United States Navy-WAVES; she retired from the Federal Civil Service of the Department of the Air Force at the Tinker Air Force Base in Oklahoma. Helena loved her family so much that she made sure that any of her nieces or nephews that wanted to continue their education, she would see that it would happen. She enjoyed helping her many friends, gardening and supporting the United States Woman Veterans.

She is survived by; two sisters; Nell Hannah of Lincoln, Arkansas, Ella Craig of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at her niece?s house of Mary and Bryan Freeman in Lincoln, Arkansas, at 12:00 PM, Monday, March 17, 2008. Ms. Jensen will be laid to rest in the Fayetteville National Cemetery.
