Chester "Babe" Holt Bailey
81 a resident of Farmington, Arkansas, went to be with his Lord on February 19, 2011 at his home in Farmington, Arkansas. He was born July 21, 1929 in Johnson, Arkansas, the son of John and Lucy Boatright Bailey.
Babe was a member of the Farmington Church of Christ. He was a truck driver for Willis Shaw Express and Jones Truck Lines. He enjoyed nothing more than spending time with his family and especially his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one daughter, Teresa Lynn Bailey, his parents and two brothers, Eugene "Bub" Bailey and Wayne Bailey.
Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Hazel Boatright Bailey of the home ; two sons, Don Corp and his wife, Terri of Carnation, Washington, Marion Bailey and his wife, Gina of Farmington, Arkansas; four brothers, John Bailey of Fayetteville, Arkansas, Bob Bailey of Houston, Texas, Carson Bailey of Farmington, Arkansas and Carl Bailey of Springdale, Arkansas; one sister, Laverne Glenn of Springdale, Arkansas; five grandchildren, Sarah and Nathan Corp of Carnation, Washington, Lindsey White and her husband, Justin of Nashville, Arkansas, Rodney Bailey and his fiance' Lauren Wright both of Farmington, Arkansas and Oakley Bailey of Farmington, Arkansas.
Family will receive friends on Tuesday evening from 6:00-8:00 P.M. at Luginbuel Funeral Home in Prairie Grove, Arkansas.
Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, February 23, 2011 - 10:00 A.M. at the Farmington Church of Christ in Farmington, Arkansas with Larry Krudwig officiating. Burial will be in the Farmington Cemetery in Farmington, Arkansas.
