Fay Forrest Luther
93, a lifetime resident of the Savoy Community near Fayetteville, Arkansas, passed away November 21, 2008 at North Hills Life Care and Rehab in Fayetteville, Arkansas. He was born September 1, 1915 at Savoy, Arkansas, the son of Vester and Anna Howe Luther.
He was a charter member of the Howe-Savoy Bible Church. He had served as president of the Farmington School Board and Farm Bureau, a Washington County 4-H leader and a member of the Prairie Grove Chapter of the Gideons.
He was preceded in death by his wife Frances Mae Luther of seventy-three years, and one infant son, Ray; eight brothers, Roland, Homer, George, Otis, his twin brother, Ray and three infant brothers.
Survivors include one son, Frank Luther and his wife Janice of Fayetteville, Arkansas; two grandsons, John Luther and his wife Ginny and James Luther and his wife Becky; three great grandchildren, Claire, Violet and Nathan Forrest.
Visitation will be Monday from 12:00-8:00 P.M. at Luginbuel Funeral Home in Prairie Grove with the family present from 6:00-7:00 P.M.
Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, November 25, 2008 at 2:00 P.M. at Luginbuel Chapel in Prairie Grove, Arkansas with Bill Allen and Dr. John H. Moore officiating with burial in White Oak Cemetery in Savoy, Arkansas.
