Doris Isobel Dobbs
92 a resident of Evansville, Arkansas went to be with her Lord and Savior August 30, 2016 at her daughter’s home in Shawnee, Oklahoma. She was born April 16 1924 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma the daughter of Clarence H Hall and Alice Richmond Hall.
When she was 12 her family moved to Fort Smith, Arkansas. She lived and attended school in Odell and Barling. She Married Edwin "Deek" Dobbs on September 5th 1944 in Van Buren, Arkansas. After they married they moved to Yakima, Washington, then they returned to Odell Mountain when they retired. Doris was post mistress at Odell Post Office for several years.
She was preceded in death by her husband Deek Dobbs, six children Eddie, Lorhema, Reno, Clarence, Willis, and Garnet, her parents Clarence and Alice Richmond Hall, two grandchildren Wesley Bynum III and Charles Ray Bynum, her brothers Clarence R. Hall, Wallace "Bill" Hall, Ed Hall, Harrison "HV" Hall and her sister Vera Rogers.
She is survived by her daughter Frankie and husband Wesley Bynum II of Shawnee, Oklahoma; one daughter-in-law Jessica Dobbs of Cane Hill, Arkansas; one grandson Paul Bynum and wife Rhonda of Macomb, Oklahoma; four granddaughters Isabella, Elisabeth, Lilianna and Lauren Dobbs; one great granddaughter Adrienne and husband Jepothy Qurik of Shawnee; one great grandson Jacob Bynum and his mother Kimberly Swanson of Shawnee Ok . One great great granson Everett Quirk and one great great grandson on the way Frankie J Vern Quirk.
The family will receive friends on Friday evening from 6:00-7:00 P.M. at Luginbuel Funeral Home in Prairie Grove, Arkansas.
Funeral service will be held Saturday September 3, 2016 10:00 a.m. at Luginbuel Chapel in Prairie Grove, burial will follow at the Shady Grove Cemetery near Morrow, Arkansas.
