David Bruce Copeland, 82, of West Fork, Arkansas died Saturday, March 16, 2013 at his home. He was born September 24, 1930 in Zinnamon Community, Washington County, the son of Lizzie Ford and Joe Hazy Copeland.
He loved spending quality time with his family and time outdoors. He lived in the Northwest Arkansas area for his entire life. He was a member of the West Fork Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses. He also was a volunteer firefighter with the Strickler Fire Department.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Foster Copeland, and one sister, Leota Copeland.
Bruce is survived by his wife, Marilyn Kato Copeland; two sons, David Wayne Copeland and Michael Copeland; two daughters, Dena Lamb and Lisa Copeland; two brothers, Joe Copeland, Jr. and Jack Copeland; four sisters, Ouida Sloas, Mary Findlay, Ruth Derry, and Neva Joy Biggs; twelve grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins; and friends.
The memorial service will be Saturday, March 23, 2013 at 1:30 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in West Fork. Graveside to follow at Zinnamon Cemetery.
