Charles Brent Clevenger, age 82 years, of Fayetteville, Arkansas, passed away Saturday, January 11, 2014 in Little Rock. He was born February 27, 1931 in Fayetteville, to parents, Clifford Clevenger and Katie (Thurman) Clevenger.
Charles proudly served his country in the United States Army.
He is preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, Kathy Newell, three sisters, Pearl Tannehill, Betty Clevenger, and Loyce Campbell, and four brothers, Cecil Clevenger, Billy Clevenger, Jack Clevenger, and Clifford Clevenger.
He is survived by his wife Ellen Loyd Clevenger, of the home in Fayetteville, a daughter, Carol Eden and husband Jim, of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; two sisters, Patsy Harvey and husband Ken, of Fayetteville; Joy May and husband Jim, of Fayetteville; three grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral services are 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, January 15, 2014, at White Rock Light of Faith Pentecostal Church in Fayetteville, Arkansas, with Reverend H.M. Shipp officiating. Burial will follow at Fayetteville National Cemetery.
