Alma Florean Pennel

77, a resident of Morrow, Arkansas went to be with her Lord, October 30, 2006, at the Circle of Life Hospice House in Springdale, Arkansas. She was born June 20, 1929 on Hale Mountain near Morrow, Arkansas the daughter of George Warner and Flora Ethel Cox Galloway.

She married Harley Ray Pennel on January 8, 1947 in Prairie Grove, Arkansas. They were happily married for fifty-nine years. She was a homemaker and a faithful member of the Hale Mountain Holiness Church. She enjoyed cooking, quilting, gardening, sewing, laughing with her family and friends and serving the Lord with all of her heart.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Harold and Leroy Galloway;

one sister, Virgina Dawes.

Survivors include her beloved husband of the home Harley Pennel, two daughters Barbara Ann Hunter and husband Jim of Fayetteville, Arkansas and Beverly Jane Pharr and husband Mike of

Gentry, Arkansas; ten grandchildren, Jacqueline Bond, Christopher Page and wife Lisa, Robin Wornkey and husband Archie, Jennifer Wright and husband Shawn, Jamie Hunter, Julie Abshier, Tamara Casey and husband Brett, and Asa Pharr; sixteen great grandchildren, Sara Smith, J.J. Bond, Heather and Colton Davis, Zach, Hannah and Harlee Wornkey, Micheal Wright, Jazmine Koerner, Tristen Dorsey, Susannah Abshier, Candace Abshier, Chloe Abshier, Jack Abshier, Jacqueline Casey and Beau Casey; one great-great grandson, Cameron James Stout; many other loving family members and a multitude of friends.

The family will receive friends from 7:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Luginbuel Chapel in Prairie Grove.

Funeral Service will be held Thursday, November 2, 2006 - 2:00 P.M. at the Luginbuel Chapel in Prairie Grove, Arkansas, with Ronnie Cooper and Dwayne Houston officiating. Burial will follow in the Bethesda Cemetery near Morrow, Arkansas.

In lieu of flowers memorial may be made to the Circle of Life Hospice House, 901 Jones Rd. Springdale, AR 72762 in honor of the loving care given to her in her last days.

Pallbearers will be Mike Pharr, Jim Hunter, Derek Abshier, Asa Pharr, Brett Casey, and Chris Page.
