Talladega, Talladega County, Alabama
Notes for LALIA SIMS:
When Lalia, Hugh and Ada's mother died (Maggie Alice Henley Sims) the children were:
Lalia: would have been 7 years old Ada: would have been 6 years old Hugh: would have been 4 years old
Maggie was 28 when she died.
As was the custom in those days, the father rarely raised children by themselves. I asked my Grandmother, Miriam Dark Sims, today (4/5/2002) who raised the children. She stated that Maggie's parents (Mr. and Mrs. Henley, Renfroe, Alabama) raised them. (For more information on Mr. and Mrs. Henley refer to Family Tree for exact names, DOB, DOD, other children, etc)
