Donald Michael Reynolds
73, a resident of Belton, Texas passed away Saturday, September 16, 2006, at his home. He was born on November 18, 1932 in Jarrell, Texas, the son of Willie Taylor and Letha Irene Thompson Reynolds.
Donald was a former resident of Northwest Arkansas, where he was employed at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Fayetteville. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps for more than twenty years and retired in 1974. He was a veteran of the Korean and Vietnam wars. His awards included the National Defense Medal, Good Conduct, Vietnam Campaign Medal, Purple Heart Medal, Navy Achievement Medal with Vietnam Cross of Gallantry with Palm, Vietnam Cross of Gallantry with Palm, Vietnam Service Medal, Combat Action Ribbon and Navy Unit Citation.
He was preceded in death by his wife Donnie L. Beeks Reynolds; two brothers; and one grandson, David May.
Survivors include his wife, Ila May Reynolds of the home; one son, Terry Wade Reynolds and wife Dawn of St. Louis, Missouri; one daughter Mandy Schendell and husband, Rick of Easton, Pennsylvania; two stepsons, George Wayne Whitmire of Prairie Grove, Arkansas, and Allen J. Hutchison of West Jordan, Utah; one stepdaughter, Jackie B. Atkins of Ohio; two brothers, W.T. Reynolds Jr. of Houston, Texas, and John Reynolds of Round Rock, Texas; eleven grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren.
Funeral Services were held Wednesday, September 20, 2006 at the Temple Garden of Memories in Temple, Texas, with Bishop McKinley officiating.

Arrangements were under the direction of the Temple Funeral Home of Temple, Texas.
