Joe "Junie" Robison, age 82, of Rule, Texas formally of Cane Hill, Arkansas, died Saturday evening at Haskell Memorial Hospital in Haskell, Texas. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM Saturday March 25, 2006 at Clyde Community Church in Cane Hill, Arkansas with Rev. Troy Repass officiating. Visitation will be held Friday March 24, 2006 from 7:00 PM until 8:30 PM at Luginbuel Funeral Home in Prairie Grove, Arkansas. Burial will follow at Cane Hill Cemetery with Masonic rites.

Joe was born February 9, 1924 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma, to the late Joe Frank Robison and Alta Cox Robison. Junie attended Grade school and high school in Cane Hill, Arkansas. He worked for the Santa Fe Trailways in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He also worked for McDonald Aircraft in Tulsa, Oklahoma and Wichita, Kansas Aircrafts as a Jet Engine Mechanic. Papa Joe helped Marc at the funeral homes for the past 15 years. He served in World War II and Korea with the United States Air Force. Joe was 32 nd Degree Mason and Shriner for over 50 years. Junie was a member of the American Legion and the VFW, where he served as a past commander and was a former Scout Master. He was an avid hunter and fisherman.

Joe touched the lives of many people in his genuine hope to help everyone. He had a big heart and could always see the best in everyone. Joe was Marc's biggest fan.

Joe is survived by his son Marc Robison and fiance Leslie of Haskell, Texas, adopted son Jonathan S. Robison of Prairie Grove, Arkansas, granddaughter Macy Robison and grandson Mac Robison of Sulphur, Louisiana, sister Opal Reed and husband Curtis of Lincoln, Arkansas, brother Buddy Robison and wife Katherine of Muskogee, Oklahoma, one niece Judy Faulkner and husband Ivan of Fayetteville, Arkansas and one nephew Jerry Reed and wife Netta of Springdale, Arkansas and a host of friends.
