Viola R. Walker, 79, of Siloam Springs, Arkansas died Sunday, July 13, 2014 in Northwest Medical Center, Springdale, Arkansas. Born July 29, 1934 in Cincinnati, Arkansas she was the daughter of Marvin and Lydia (Coleman) Rankin.

She lived most of her life in Northwest Arkansas and was married to Harold Richard Walker. Viola was owner and operator of Vi's Haircare and loved to play bridge. She was member of First Baptist Church, Siloam Springs, Arkansas.

She was preceded in death her daughter Patty.

Survivors include her husband Harold Richard of the home; daughters Brenda Bates of Siloam Springs, Arkansas and Joyce Robertson and husband Gary of Springdale, Arkansas; brother Elvin Rankin of Gentry, Arkansas; grandchildren Todd Reynolds, David Lee Bates and Chuck Robertson and five great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 2:00 pm, Wednesday, July 16, 2014 at First Baptist Church, Siloam Springs, Arkansas with Pastor Mike Walker officiating. Burial will follow in Weddington Cemetery, Weddington, Arkansas.

Visitation will be 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Tuesday, July 15, 2014 at Wasson Funeral Home, Siloam Springs, Arkansas.
