Jimmy Louis Cooper

70 a resident of Siloam Springs, Arkansas, passed away April 19, 2011 at Siloam Springs Nursing and Rehab in Siloam Springs, Arkansas. He was born February 12, 1941 in Cove Creek, Arkansas, the son of James William and Annie Phillips Cooper.

Jimmy worked for the Prairie Grove Canning Company during the early 70's and he loved working on lawn mowers, reading, hunting and fishing.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Melba Cooper; two brothers, Kenneth Cooper and Sam Cooper.

Survivors include one son, Jimmy D. Cooper of Watts, Oklahoma; one daughter, Genevieve Quick and her husband, Tip of Watts, Oklahoma; one brother, Gene Cooper of Arkansas; five grandchildren, J. Keith Allen of Watts, Oklahoma, Kyle Allen and his wife, Amy of Leach, Oklahoma, Jennifer Benton of Fort Smith, Arkansas, Roxy Byford of Fort Smith, Arkansas and Tessa Cooksey and her husband, David of El Paso, Texas; ten great grandchildren, Zach Quick, Arayha Allen, Jennessa Cooper, Thomas Benton, Ashlyn Killian, Austin Byford, Drake Allen, Trystin Benton, Brandon McMahan, and Romy Cooksey.

Family will receive friends on Thursday evening from 6:00-7:00 P.M. at Luginbuel Funeral Home in Prairie Grove, Arkansas.

Funeral Service will be held Friday, April 22, 2011 - 2:00 P.M. at Luginbuel Chapel in Prairie Grove, Arkansas with Warren Foxworthy officiating. Burial will be in Scott Cemetery in Prairie Grove, Arkansas, there will be no graveside services held at the cemetery.
