86, a resident of Springdale, Arkansas, passed away November 8, 2009 at the Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville. He was born June 13, 1923 at Durham, Arkansas, the son of James Walter and Ethel C. Robbins Allison.

Dean served in the United States Army during World War II.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Myrtle Irene Allison.

Survivors include one son, Charles Allison and his wife Janice of Springdale Arkansas; one brother, Bill Allison of Siloam Springs, Arkansas; two sisters, Ruby Potter of Siloam Springs, Arkansas, and Velma Bartholomew of Sand Point, Idaho.
