Notes

Peter and Ann were married about 1776. Peter served for about eighteen months in Captain Felix Worley's Company, 3rd South Carolina Regiment commanded by Colonel William Thomas during the Revolutionary War. He and his brother, Jacob, were present at the siege of Charleston, SC. He received land grants in both South Carolina and Virginia for his services.

Peter and Ann moved to Hancock County, Georgia about 1893 and lived there until their deaths.

Peter and Ann are buried in the City Cemetery, Sparta, Hancock County, Georgia. On November 10, 1982 a bronze marker was placed on the grave of Peter.

It was provided by the United States Veterans Administration at the request of a descendant, George Fuller Walker.
