S. E Prince
85 a resident of Fayetteville, Arkansas, passed away December 2, 2010 at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville, Arkansas. He was born February 19, 1925 in Waurika, Oklahoma, the son of Samuel E. and Dora Mae Snellgroes Prince.
S.E. served in the U.S. Army during WWII and fought under General Patton as part of the Invasion of Normandy. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge for over 60 years, was a successful businessman from 1950's-1970's, and a very active member of the Lincoln Community. After that time he retired and has been living in the Fayetteville area.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lizzie Marie Prince; two brothers, Doyle "Doc" Prince and J.T. Prince; two sisters, Jessie White and Mildred Whiteley and two half brothers, Melvin Skaggs and Elvin Skaggs.
Survivors include one son, Samuel E. Prince Jr. of Fayetteville, Arkansas; one daughter, Linda Wilson of Fayetteville, Arkansas; one sister, Ruby Whiteley of Muskogee, Oklahoma; four grandchildren, Emily Antoinette Petrino, Lauren Danielle Rew, Linley Dust and Jeremy Latta; three great grandchildren, Jackson Edward Rew, Reagan Dust and Landon Latta.
Memorial Service will be held Monday, December 6, 2010 - 10:00 A.M. at Luginbuel Chapel in Prairie Grove, Arkansas. Burial was in Ganderville Cemetery in Summers, Arkansas. There will be no grave side services held at the cemetery.
