Vanetta Fern Billings Dunn

69, a resident of Fayetteville, passed away July 9, 2014 at Fayetteville. She was born November 21, 1944 at Summit, Arkansas, the daughter of Van and Eula Hardin Billings.

Vanetta worked at Springdale Health and Rehab where she was assistant director of nurses for twelve years. She had been director of nurses at Care Inn in Plainview, Texas. She was also a nursing consultant for Beverly Enterprises all over East Texas for many years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Francis Lee Dunn; six brothers, Truman, Virgil, Ulis, Marion Cleve, Everett, and Clyde Billings; Three sisters, Louise Latham, Lazelle Willsey, and Lucia Gideon; two half sisters, Ruth Johnson, and Ruby Patterson; one step son, Jarrold Dunn; one step daughter Janice Dunn.

Survivors include one son, Van Dunn and wife Jamie of Fayetteville; one brother, Farrell Billings; two sisters, Ethna and Charlsie Billings; one sister in-law Viva Billings; four grandchildren, Mason Barber, Astre, Ashton, and McKinley Dunn; one stepson Jimmy Dunn and several step grand children; several nieces, nephews and extended family.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. Sunday at the Luginbuel Chapel.

Funeral Service will be held Monday, July 14, 2014 - 11:00 A.M. at the Living Faith Church in Fayetteville with Glenda Curtis and Charlsie Billings officiating. Burial will be in the Farmington Cemetery. No graveside services will be held at the cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Jimmy Dunn, Darrell Still, Russell Still, Justin Wood, and James Still.
