William Glen Loftin
86, a resident of Fayetteville, Arkansas went to be with his Lord, February 26, 2007 in Fayetteville, Arkansas. He was born June 28, 1920 at Morrow, Arkansas, the son of James Abraham and Alta Rachel Pitts Loftin.
Glen was a Christian and attended the Living Faith Church of Fayetteville. He was a 32nd degree Mason. He retired from the U.S.D.A. after more than twenty years of service. He was a Veteran of World War II.
He was preceded in death by two sons, Etsel ?Tom? Loftin and J. Keith Loftin; his parents, three brothers Dean Loftin, Charles Henderson Loftin and Clyde Andrew Loftin; one sister, Irene Loftin Abshier.
Survivors include his wife of sixty-six years, Elizabeth ?Beth? Abshier Loftin of the home; one son, J. Bruce Loftin and wife Kathy of Fayetteville, Arkansas; one daughter, Annette C. Miller and husband Edd of Springdale, Arkansas; eight grandchildren, Todd Loftin, Marnie Long, Brock Loftin, Liz Hardy, Stacy Spangler, Melissa Lewis, Kelly Krause, and Kyle Miller; nineteen great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Luginbuel Chapel in Prairie Grove.
A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, March 2, 2007 - 11:00 A.M. at the Living Faith Church in Fayetteville, Arkansas, with Dr. Buel Curtis officiating. Burial will be in the Mt. Comfort Cemetery Fayetteville, Arkansas.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to The Fund For Families of The Church, in care of Living Faith Church 1351 S. Morningside Dr. Fayetteville, AR 72701.
Pallbearers will be Todd Loftin, Brock Loftin, Kyle Miller, Shannon Spangler, Todd Lewis, David Krause, and Steve Long.
Honorary pallbearers will be Blake Long, Bradley Long, Johnny Loftin, and Brad Bohannan.
