DEATH CLAIMS A. MCCORMICK OF PRAIRIE GROVE
Prairie Grove, April 4-(Special)-Arthur McCormick, co-owner of the Beverly Theater, died Saturday about 6 o’clock following a heart attack. Born in Prairie Grove, he formaerly was an automobile dealer, and owned the operated the Prairie Grove garage for 32 years.
Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Ruth McCormick; two daughters, Mrs. Willard Brooks and Dolly Ann of the home; his mother Mrs. E. G. McCormick of Prairie Grove; a brother Grover McCormick of Prairie Grove and two grandchildren.
Funeral services were to be held today at 2 p.m. at the Methodist Church by the Rev. J. W. Butler pastor of the Fayetteville Presbyterian Churcch, and the Rev. H. M. Womack pastor of the Methodist Church. The Luginbuel Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Pallbearers were to be Dan Pyeatt of Siloam Springs, Ed Broyles,, Clyde Delap, Rollans Wilson, Delford Rieff, L. A. Carman, Frank Mason and Elbert Beatty. Honorary Pallbearers were to be L. E. Maupin, Roy Fidler, Leland Bryan of Fayetteville. Lynn Smith of Springdale, Oscar McChristian, Byrd Oliver, J. A. Smith, Judge Maupin Cummings, of Fayetteville, Fred Carlisle, L. L. Baggett, Dr. Frank Riggall, R. D. Bogart, W. E. Lark, Henry Nelson, H. C. Rogers,, J. B. Russell, Dolph Helm, Layton McCoy, J. S. Harlan, Hnery Carnahan, Oscar Sharp and George Wiswell.ARTHUR MCCORMICK
Prairie Grove, April 5 - Funeral services for Arthur McCormick, who died here Saturday were conducted yesterday afternoon at the Methodist Church by the Rev. G.C. Bidwell, assisted by the Rev.J.W. Buller, Jr., of the Fayetteville Presbyterian Church, and the Rev. Harold Womack of the Methdist Church.
Burial was in the Prairie Grove cemetery under direction of the Luginbuel Funeral Home.
