Louise Maurine Snodgrass Howard
84, a resident of Lincoln, Arkansas, went to be with her Lord, May 18, 2008 at Springdale, Arkansas. She was born September 11, 1923 at Lincoln, Arkansas, the daughter of Homer Lawson Sr. and Rubie Etta Murray Snodgrass.
Louise was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Lincoln, Arkansas serving several terms as an Elder. She was a member of the Order of Easter Star where she served as Worthy Matron.
She was a volunteer and officer of the Arkansas Apple Festival. She served as the Arts and Crafts Chairman for many years. She was a loyal volunteer at the Doctor’s Museum in Lincoln. She worked for twenty-five years as a secretary and Bookkeeper for Delair Truck Company in Downey, California.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband of fifty-five years, Ernest N. Howard; one brother, Homer Snodgrass Jr.; and two sisters, Mae Dee Snodgrass Summers, and Mary Etta Snodgrass Willhite.
Survivors include two nephews, Michael Willhite of San Francisco, California, Larry Snodgrass of Lincoln, Arkansas; three nieces, Kay Holloway of Foothill Ranch, California, Sue Ann Collier of Pell City, Alabama, and Connie Williams of Fayetteville, Arkansas.
The family will receive friends Thursday night from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Luginbuel Chapel in Prairie Grove.
Funeral Services will be held Friday, May 23, 2008 - 10:00 A.M. at the First Presbyterian Church Lincoln, Arkansas. Burial will be in the Bethesda Cemetery Morrow, Arkansas.
Memorials may be made to the Circle of Life Hospice & Palliative, Care 901 Jones Rd. Springdale, AR 72762.
Pallbearers will be Jerry Leach, Ray Braly, Ian Romo, Bryan Claxton, John Williams, and Gene Collier.
