Violet was such a special person..my mother (Glynne Richey)and Violet have a long history. Mama and Violet worked at the Lincoln Library together for years and Mama though Violet was the best. Until Mama's health became so bad they had a standing date every Wednesday for lunch at Burgerland. They always eat the same thing and they would just set down and everything was just brought to them. Of course they had to have pie and Mama said Violet always complained that Mama got the largest piece! They loved to fuss at each other over this...So many memories...God's Blessing to you Ms. Violet say hello to Mama I know she's been waiting for you...

Violet brought smiles from people wherever she went. Some people have that ability to make others feel good when they are around. Violet was one of those people. Every time I saw her at the library, she was spreading that smile around.

We have never known a finer lady and such a wonderful Christian. Her precious smile always brought sunlight in to other peoples lives. We know that God has many mansions and one of them just got a good organist and terrific lady. God bless Violet's family and His strength will support you and bring you peace.

Dear Beverly,
I am sorry to hear of your loss. Voilet was very kind to me and my family when we moved to Lincoln in 1989. When we were a part of First Presbyterian Church, we were blessed by her music. Also I remember how she and you helped my kids love reading. May God bless you with my wonderful memories of a dear person.
