Obituary
Tonya Marie Darnell
Age 54, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 3, 2025 at her home. She was born January 12, 1971 in Hot Springs, Arkansas, the daughter of James "Jim" Albert Darnell Jr. and Vickie Fryar Darnell.

We miss her but we know with certainty that she is walking the streets of gold and singing and praising God in heaven. Tonya had a heart of gold and she never met a stranger. She was preceded in death by her father, paternal grandparents James Albert Sr. and Mary Ellen Darnell, and maternal grandparents Eston and Marie Fryar.
Survivors include her mother Vickie Darnell, her brother Jimmy Darnell (Dayna), her niece Miranda Welter, her nephew James Eston Darnell (Cynthia) and two great nieces, seven great nephews and another great niece on the way. She is also survived with many aunts, uncles and cousins who loved her dearly.
The family wishes to express a special thanks to all the nurses at Washington Regional Medical Center and Encompass Health Rehab.
