Theresa Moore
One day shy of 101, a resident of Fayetteville, Arkansas, passed away Thursday, September 28, 2023 in Fayetteville, Arkansas. She was born September 29, 1922 in Tulsa, Oklahoma, the daughter of Thomas Logan and Cecilia Agnes (Hampton) Hardesty.
Theresa graduated from Holy Family School in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and later from St. Anthony School of Nursing in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She served in the United States Army as a 2nd Lt. as a nurse during World War II.
She was preceded in death by her husband Dr. Arthur Moore, her parents, one daughter and son-in-law Donna and Lynn Gardner, and ten brothers and sisters.
Survivors include two sons Dr. Dwight Moore and wife Pamela, and Douglas Moore and wife Marti Scharlau; two daughters Debbie Daily and husband Gerald, and Dr. Deedee Moore and husband David Redick; one sister Georgianna Sanders; eight grandchildren, six great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Monday, October 2nd, 2023, at Sons Chapel Cemetery in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
Memorials may be made to Washington Regional Hospice or the Fayetteville Botanical Gardens.
