I grew up in Dutch Mills. Neva's husband Fay had horses,so about every Sunday afternoon some of the us would meet at their farm and have horse races in Fay's pasture. Neva was always such a nice lady.I now own land on the mountain joining their farm.I have enjoyed our visits when I would stop to see her during hunting season.I have such fond memories of Neva.

Neva had a love and passion for little kids. She loved them all.You could always find her at church with one in her lap or in the nursery. Darren worked for her on her farm when he was about 11 and has so many memories. One including him one time accidently running over her with the tractor. Not too long ago they sat down and had a good laugh over that. Neva will be missed!

I remember Neva when I was young as my grandmothers neighbor but about 2 years ago she saw me in town and gave me a hug...I had no idea who she was but she knew even after well over 10 years exactly who I was. My dad said he had a soft place in his heart for Neva, he remembers when he and his brothers graduated High School she gave each one a pocket knife and that was a special memory. She was a good lady and she will be missed.
