Obituary

Mary Carla Thompson, age 64, of Farmington, died Tuesday, June 23, 2020. She was born June 24, 1955 in Mercedes, Texas, the daughter of Ernest "Mac" McQueen and Scottie Cook McQueen. She was a speech pathologist and a member of Farmington First Baptist Church in Farmington.

She is survived by her husband of 43 years Dr. Alan Thompson; two sons, Joshua Thompson of Fayetteville and Michael Thompson and his wife Ginny of Little Rock; a sister, Suzanna Wetherington of El Dorado; three brothers, Michael McQueen of Austin, Texas, Harry Eugene McQueen of Little Rock and Sam McQueen of Houston, Texas and three grandchildren, Shirley Thompson, Greta Thompson and James Thompson.

Visitation will be held 5 p.m.–7 p.m., Friday, June 26 at Moore's Chapel. A graveside service will be held at 12 noon, Saturday at Farmington Cemetery, under the direction of Moore's Chapel.
