I just wanted to say I'm sorry about Marty. I was shocked when I heard about it. Marty was a really nice man. He would give anyone the shirt off his back. He always made sure to encourage everyone, even if they weren't doing very well at whatever it was. Whenever Dad(Robert)was doing the books at the jackpot last Saturday, Marty made sure to go up and tell him he was doing a good job. Even though the books aren't that hard to keep. I love you all and I will make sure to keep your family in my prayers. If you guys ever need anything just let me know. Love You, Whitney

I first met Marty in October of 2005 at the team roping finals in Guthrie and after just a few days of roping together I felt like I had known him for a life time. Marty was amdired by all ropers for having a strong work ethic and great family values. He was the model of what every great man should be and I already miss him dearly. I am extremely sad for the entire family and the loss that will never be replaced.
