Tributes

My dearest Arkansas family, Although Snook (husband, father, pappy, brother, and my beloved brother in law) is no longer with us, he will forever remain in our hearts and his spirit will always be felt. He was an amazing man that showed us all how to live life to the fullest and give back to others. I will miss him dearly. Such a kind hearted man. I am so glad I got to visit in April this year and spend time with the family. RIP Snook. I will love you forever. Love Brenda

Leon was one who could always make you smile. He had a spark about him that just drew others too him. He was kind and cheerful and would never hesitate to give out some folksy wisdom and advice. I am gonna miss his visits and I know he is looking down on us all laughing and smiling, that is if he isn't up there busy trying to figure out why the holy gates are squeaking and figuring out how to fix them. We will all miss you Leon! Till we meet again, Bobby Todd

So sorry to learn of Leon's passing. As stated, he had such a spark and joy about him - it was contagious! He designed and built an amazing Kayak trailer for me years ago, then we lost touch for a long time. I am so greatful that we reconnected recently at the VA. I will miss his smile, but look forward to rejoicing with him again on the other side of eternity.
