Obituary
John "Larry" Lockhart, 80, a resident of Lincoln, passed away Tuesday, July 16, 2024 in Fayetteville. He was born February 1, 1944 in Lincoln, the son of Kenneth and Alma (Elms) Lockhart.
Larry loved hunting, fishing, farming and gardening. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and attending all their activities . He was a simple man that never met a stranger.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Mary Francis Lockhart; sister-in-law, Hannelore Lockhart and brother-in-law, Jim Reaves.
Survivors include his wife of 49 yrs. Mary Ann Lockhart; son, Henry Jones and former wife Karen; daughter, Loretta Jones and husband Robert; brother, Roy Lockhart; sister, Judy Cohea and husband Joe; sister, Janice Reaves; grandchildren, Lauren Jones, Hayden Jones, Emily Jones and Maggie Jones; several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Monday, July 22, 2024, 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM at the Luginbuel Funeral Home.
Funeral Service will be held 10:00 AM Tuesday, July 23rd, 2024, at Luginbuel Chapel in Prairie Grove. Burial will be in the Ganderville Cemetery in Summers, Arkansas. No graveside service will be held at the cemetery.
