John was a great person! I didn't get to see him very often but always enjoyed our visits. John had a big family that loved him and he will be missed.

Many great memories of John from my childhood. He was a great person and a fun member of my family. Enjoyed my chances to visit with him and catch up.
Clay Reed - Cousin

John was a favorite cousin of mine. We shared many happy memories growing up. He was a real spark and joy to be around. He had a very kind and giving spirit. We recently reconnected. It was fun sharing our old memories and just talking about life as we grew older. This hit me hard. He will be greatly missed.

Dear Coach and Anna, I’m sorry for your loss. Though I didn’t know John, we share the same September 1 birthday and his happy face in his pictures tells what a good person he was and people obviously enjoyed spending time with him. I’ll keep your family in my prayers.

John was one of my very best friends here in Fort Worth. I met him when I went to work for Fleetscreen. Our personalities made us quick friends. I was blessed to have spent 11 years being graced with his presence. He taught me many things and one of those was his selfless acts of kindness towards others. I didn’t get to see him much in the last years of his life but we talked on the phone almost daily and for hours at a time. I cannot express how much I miss him . To his family I want to express my deepest sympathy. John’s smile lit up a room. I am forever changed because he loved me,

John will be greatly missed. I met John over 20 years ago and worked with him with our church ESL ministry. John was always such an example of God's love for others. He always had a smile and hug for everyone. I am so sorry for your loss.

I had the honor of serving with John in our ESL ministry at Southcliff.
John worked tirelessly because he loved people unconditionally. He was the first to arrive in the last to leave every week. He was passionate about sharing the love and message of Jesus with every person who entered our ESL program. All of our workers loved him dearly and are heartbroken. We are thankful for the time we had with John. He was a blessing to us all.

John was such a blessing to everyone who met him. He was passionate about everything he did and he did them with his whole heart. He loved the children in the nursery as well as all the people in the ESL ministry, students and volunteers at Southcliff. We are all heart broken and will miss him but we are glad he is well and rejoicing with the Lord. My deepest sympathy to all of John's family.

John was a great employee. His tech and people skills were excellent. He was a fabulous team leader for our staff. I was saddened to hear of his passing. John was a Christian and is living in eternity with his Lord and savior. May God comfort his family and friends during this difficult time.

John and I became friends when we began our ESL in 2001. God used his dynamic leadership and his genuine love for each person involved with our ESL to grow it to the largest one in Fort Worth. He had a special love for immigrants & internationals. John was a humble man & would not take any credit for it. To God went all the glory! He had many friends & he loved and made time for us all. We will miss his radiant smile & warm hugs, but we know he will greet us when we arrive at our heavenly home & we'll get to spend all eternity together with Jesus, our Savior! My prayers are with you, his family in your loss!

I do not always understand why God chooses to bring his children home early but we must trust His heart for us. John is the reason I have been involved with ESL these past several years. John had a way of drawing you in to ministry, especially one he was so passionate about. John loved people and he loved the Lord. John fulfilled 'The Great Commission' as the world came to Southcliff. Everyone from all over the world loved John and how could they not love him. We will miss his smile and the love of God that radiated from him.
Ralph Carol Pemberton Jr - good friend

I will always remember John for his kindness and compassion for ESL. John loved helping others and telling people that Jesus loved them I helped with ESL on Thursday nights it's going to be hard to not see john walking down the hallway or seeing him. I'm going to miss him so much but as a follower of Christ I know that I will see John again rip buddy it was great to know you

John always met you with a smile. He was faithful to his ministry in English as a Second Language at Southcliff. He cared for all of the individuals that partnered with him in the ministry and for all of the individuals that attended the ESL classes, through all of the years. God worked through him to touch the lives of others. He joyfully praised the Lord with us during our Sunday services and whenever there was an opportunity to join together with others to offer thanksgiving to God for His faithfulness.

I was heartbroken to read the news of John’s passing. He was a phenomenal student and the most talented one I ever had. He was such a wonderful person and a friend to all. I pray for comfort during this extremely difficult time.
