Joe Edwin Rutherford
Age 86, a resident of Greenwood, Arkansas, passed away Monday, January 6, 2025 in Greenwood, Arkansas. He was born October 14, 1938 in Jefferson County, Arkansas, the son of Frank and Eulah (Michael) Rutherford.
Joe was the bus mechanic at the Prairie Grove Schools for many years. He had a deep love for motorcycles and was known to fix countless waffles for his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two children Sheila Diane Wilkins and Robert Rutherford, three brothers Walter Rutherford, Henry O. Rutherford and Mitchell Rutherford, and one infant sister.
Survivors include three children Joe Rutherford and his wife Cathy of Summers, Arkansas, Donna Mclean and her husband Lee of Prairie Grove, Arkansas, and DeDe Glover of Van Buren, Arkansas; one brother Claud Rutherford and wife Sandi of Prairie Grove; one sister-in-law Jennie Rutherford of Farmington, Arkansas; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held Tuesday, January 14, 2025 - 2:00 P.M. at Luginbuel Chapel in Prairie Grove.
