Obituary
Elmer Joe "Jody" Hunt
Age 52, a resident of Lowell, Arkansas, passed away Saturday, November 11, 2023 in Lowell, Arkansas. He was born November 4, 1971 in Fayetteville, Arkansas, the son of Dennis and Brenda (Longwith) Hunt.
Jody was a great man and loved by everyone. He loved to help people. When he made a friend he was a friend for life. He loved his family and especially his kids. He loved them all dearly. The older he got the harder he worked. He was a very kind and tender-hearted man. He will be greatly missed. This world will be a little bit darker today as a shining light is gone from our presence. He loved the Arkansas Razorbacks and the Dallas Cowboys.
He was preceded in death by paternal grandparents Elmer and Oleta Hunt, and maternal grandfather Lester Longwith.
Survivors include his parents Dennis and Brenda Hunt; his companion Becky Holt; nine children Aaron Hunt, Alexis Canada and husband Nic, Cameron Hunt, Keaton Hunt, Channing Hunt, Victor Sizemore, John Navarro, Faith Navarro, and Hope Navarro; one sister Danaye Hunt; his chosen sister Rachel Denny; maternal grandmother Wilma Longwith; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6:00-8:00 P.M. at Luginbuel Funeral Home. There will be no funeral service and burial will be in the Antioch Cemetery in Morrow, Arkansas.

Tributes
I have known Jody for years. He was a pretty good fellar. We went to school together. I always thought I was older than him. But, I was wrong. The last time I saw him was a "Tigers" funeral. He took off work. He was like that. He would drop what he was doing, if he thought a friend needed him. Dennis, Brenda, DeNaye. I will be praying for you guys and his kids.
