Erma Amelea Nunamaker

Age 93, a resident of Prairie Grove, Arkansas, passed away Sunday, December 29, 2024 at her home. She was born November 17, 1931 near Dutch Mills, Arkansas, the daughter of Leland Earl and Lucy Bell (Reed) Latta.

Erma attended school at Morrow, Arkansas, graduating in 1949. Before her marriage to Darrell Mattox, Erma worked for the Bell Telephone Company and later was employed by Baldwin Piano Company in Fayetteville, Arkansas for many years. Erma later married Eldon Nunamaker in 1985.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Eldon Nunamaker, and two sons Kevin Mattox and Dana Mattox.

Survivors include her son, Daryn Mattox and his wife Tabbie of Lincoln, Arkansas; one brother David Latta and wife Carolyn of Morrow, Arkansas; nine grandchildren Christina Mattox, Vicki Mattox, Aaron and Traci Mattox, Kyle Mattox, Korey McKelvy, Matthew and Julia Mattox, Meghan and Nate Morsches, Christy Roach, and Madelynn Munzner; and sixteen great grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held 10:00 AM Thursday, January 2nd, 2025, at Lincoln Assembly of God in Lincoln, Arkansas. Burial was in the Edmiston Cemetery in Morrow, Arkansas.
