Donita May Shreve
76, a resident of Lincoln, Arkansas, passed away May 10, 2006, at Fayetteville, Arkansas. She was born March 2, 1929 at Elkhart, Kansas, the daughter of Samuel and Anne Brown Rhine.
Donita was a member of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church of Prairie Grove. She worked for the Council on ageing; she was the director of the Prairie Grove Senior Center where she was instrumental in construction of the new building; she was a member of the American Legion Women’s Auxiliary and active in the African Violet Society; she was a loving mother, grandmother and friend.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Roy Rogers and Leroy Shreve; one brother and three sisters; one stepson Nathan Shreve.
Survivors include three sons, Henry Rogers and Jimmy Rogers both of Lincoln, Arkansas, and Robert Rogers of Sacramento, California; four daughters, Lynda Withee of Prairie Grove, Arkansas, Rose Bourdon of Austin, Texas, Donita Rogers of Sacramento, California, and Barbara LaBeau of Long Beach, California; one sister, Margorie Holtze of Spokane, Washington; twenty grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren; one stepson Matthew Shreve of Prairie Grove, Arkansas.
Visitation will begin Friday from 10:00 a.m. until 8:30 p.m. at the Luginbuel Chapel.
Funeral Service will be held Saturday, May 13, 2006 - 2:00 P.M. at the Luginbuel Chapel in Prairie Grove, Arkansas, with Dr. Richard Niswonger officiating. Burial will be in Rose Cemetery near Viney Grove, Arkansas.
