Daisy E. (Cook) Bailey, 92, of Fayetteville, died Tuesday, September 25, 2012 at Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale. She was born June 16, 1920 in Washington County to Martin Luther and Mary Ann Sutherland Cook.
Daisy loved fishing, camping, cooking and traveling. She also loved family gatherings and dancing at family parties. She enjoyed listening to Irish singer, Daniel O'Donnell. She had a great sense of humor that she maintained until the end of her life.
She was preceded in death by six brothers and sisters.
She is survived by three daughters, Virginia Harrison and husband Gene, and Sharon Wilson, all of Fayetteville, Judith Hawkins and husband Richard of Tulsa; two brothers, Edmond Cook and wife Helen of Fayetteville, Frank Lawton Cook of Kansas; seven grandchildren, Michael Harrison and wife Anne, Greg Harrison and wife Sherri,
Mickey Wilson, Judi Sturgill and husband Todd, Alvaro Barrios and wife Angela, Jonathan Barrios, Miguel Barrios
and wife Elisabeth; nine great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, September 29, 2012 at Highland Cemetery. Visitation will be from to 6
to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Circle of Life Hospice, 901 Jones Rd.,
Springdale, AR 72762.
