Tributes

Sending out hugs and prayers for all. My whole family thought of grandma/Joann as family even though we're not blood related. In 2021 I enjoyed getting to spend the weekend with her. We ate KFC, and other yummy foods, watched the Hogs play baseball, watched some old westerns and made a trip to the nail spa to get pedicures. Over the year's, Maddi, Kailey and Trevor have all grown to love her too. We was blessed to know her. Our hearts go out to Ken and Nancy and the rest of her family and friends during this difficult time. Keeping you in our prayers.

Aunt Joann was one of the sweetest people I’ve ever known. I have so many fond memories from growing up around her. Her smile was always given to others freely. She will be remembered for her loving example. One of my favorite memories of Aunt Joann is her water skiing. She could climb down the ladder into the water, ski a few rounds, let go and sink slowly into the lake and climb back in the boat without ever getting her hair wet. I thought that was the most amazing thing when I was young because I tended to fall spectacularly when skiing. She was a special lady and I’m thankful God let us be related.

My condolences to all Family Members. We were in the same Graduation Class at Lincoln High School in 1952. Joan was well liked by all students and I'll always remember the smile on her face when visiting with anyone. Always seemed so happy. She will be sorely missed by all who knew her.

Aunt Joann was one of the nicest persons I ever met. Anytime you saw her, Aunt Joann, was so nice. The older you get, the rarer you realize such people are.
