Obituary

William H."Bill" Cruikshank

86, a resident of Summers, Arkansas, passed away September 19, 2006 at the Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville. He was born March 9, 1920 at Lincoln, Arkansas, the son of Cyrus L. and Annie Jane Rawls Cruikshank.

Bill was a lifelong Baptist and a lifetime member of the VFW and the American Legion.

He was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.

Survivors include his wife Eunice Cruikshank of the home; three sons, Bobby Cruikshank and his wife Sue of Lincoln, Arkansas, L. W. Cruikshank and his wife Kay of West Fork, Arkansas, and Ricky Cruikshank and his wife Sheila of Rhea's Mill, Arkansas; three daughters, Edna Smith and her husband Jack of Morrow, Arkansas, Billie Ann Skelton and husband Pierson of Dutch Mills, Arkansas, and Kay Butler of Tulsa, Oklahoma; one sister, Stella Hunton of Lincoln, Arkansas; twenty-four grandchildren, sixty four-great grandchildren, and five great great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will be held Thursday, September 21, 2006 - 10:00 A.M. at the Summers Missionary Baptist Church, with Paul Young officiating. Burial will follow in Bethesda Cemetery near Morrow.

Pallbearers will be Kyle Cruikshank, Leon Smith, Tim Barker, Jeremy Butler, Troy Cruikshank and Derrick Cruikshank.
