Theoma Leach
Age 88, a resident of Farmington, Arkansas, passed away Tuesday, August 13, 2019 in Farmington. She was born January 12, 1931 in Lamar, Colorado, the daughter of Clarence and Zetta (Mefford) Compton.

She was preceded in death by her husband Hartsel "Bud" Leach Jr., her parents, one daughter Karen Lowery, one brother Harrold Compton, one grandson Billy Wayne Windell and one granddaughter Jennifer Leach.

Survivors include three sons David Leach and his wife Toni of Muskogee, Oklahoma, Robert Leach of Fayetteville, Arkansas, and Greg Leach and his wife Jenefer of Farmington, Arkansas; two daughters Susan Drury and Cathy Gaddy both of Spokane, Washington; one brother Clifford Compton of Fortine, Montana; two sisters Vada Hamann of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio and Jackie Redden of Riberton, Kansas; eighteen grandchildren Jamie Leach, Nathan Lowery, Kasie Lowery, Richard Drury, Victor Drury, John Drury, Dawn Mathis, James Guss, Andrew Leach, Amy Hall, Gregory Leach, Janell Mora, Rachel Leach, Matt Leach and Irish Love Leach, Jackline Gaddy, Tamara Gaddy, Tonya Gaddy; twenty-five great grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren.

In what turned out to be a foreshadowing of the importance of family in her life, Theoma's name was derived by combining the first names of her grandmothers: Theodocia & Alice Oma: Theoma. She was a devoted, loving mother and grandmother who was very proud of her family.

Theoma loved holidays and family get-togethers; any chance to spend time with her family was important to her. She cultivated an environment rich for memory-making by spending hours cooking and preparing to host her family.

Theoma was known by many as the owner of Bud's Foreign Auto Parts. She worked by her husband Bud’s side for 30+ years and was instrumental in the business’s success. Plus, she would always give her grandkids quarters to buy bottled sodas from the Coke machine.

An avid traveler, she took multiple cross-country trips by RV. Always seeking adventure, she is now on her next journey and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

The family will receive friends Friday, August 16, 2019, 6:00-8:00 PM at Luginbuel Funeral Home.

Funeral service will be held 10:00 AM Saturday, August 17th, 2019, at Luginbuel Chapel in Prairie Grove, Arkansas. Burial will be in the Stevenson Leach Cemetery in Prairie Grove, Arkansas.
