Obituary
Sue Heisler
Age 90, a resident of Lincoln, Arkansas, went to be with her Lord on Saturday, March 2, 2019 at the Maples in Springdale, Arkansas. She was born February 15, 1929 in Henry County, Tennessee, the daughter of Charlie and Eula (Pruitt) Hicks.
Sue was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Lincoln, VFW Auxiliary, American Legion Auxiliary and had previously been an active member of the Lincoln Senior Center playing drums with several bands in the area. She was a member of the Lincoln Cemetery Association, Lincoln Library Board, office manager of the Arkansas Doctors Museum for 15 years, and clerk treasure for the City of Lincoln.
She was preceded in death by her husband Robert "Bob" Heisler Sr., one son Walter Dennis Byars Jr., one step daughter Betty Russell and her parents.
Survivors include one son Don Byars and wife Loretta of Lincoln, Arkansas; one daughter Dena Dodd and husband David of Prairie Grove, Arkansas; one step son, Robert Heisler JR. of Fayetteville, Arkansas; one step daughter Wanda VanMeter of Lincoln, Arkansas; nine grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren and seventeen great great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, March 5, 2019, 3:00 PM -5:00 PM at Luginbuel Funeral Home.
Funeral Service will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday, March 6th, 2019, at Luginbuel Chapel in Prairie Grove, Arkansas. Burial will be in the Lincoln Cemetery, there will be no graveside service held.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Lincoln Cemetery or the Lincoln Library.
