She was the mother to four surviving children. Her two sons are Dr. Timothy West (Lucinda) of Conroe, Texas and Richard West of Lincoln, Arkansas. She was married to the love of her life, Bill, on November 22, 1963. Until Bill’s death, they lived in Arkansas, Kansas, Texas, and Oklahoma. While she was a homemaker for most her life, she owned her own restaurant for a season, where she proudly enjoyed serving her community. She also supplemented her retirement income working at the Sonic Drive-In in Westville with “those young kids” and at Peachtree Village. She was a generous woman, often giving her last dime to help someone she loved. She was the sun around which the West family universe revolved, and she will be deeply missed. Ruth Ann’s greatest love was her family, and all her children were honored to call her mom.
