I first met Roy in 1978 and he has been a friend and advisor since that time. I will remember all of the great chats that we had and the things that we were able to accomplish together during that time. I will always cherish our friendship.

I got to know Roy for just a short while at Peachtree when he lived there with his wife. It was a pleasure to get acquainted with them both and be of service to them in the salon. Roy was one of the kindest gentlemen I think I have ever met and liked by all. I'm sure he will be greatly missed!

Roy and Virginia were two wonderful friends. I spent many hours with Roy picking up supplies for Grace Place and sharing fellowship at Kiwanis. He and Virginia were a vital part of the congrgation when I served there. They made me welcome and feel like a part of their own family while I was there. Lon

Mr. and Mrs. Jackson were the kindest two souls I have ever known. My family rented their little house next door in 1994 and they "picked" us because of the kids. They rented to me and my kids the whole time I was in law school and charged us $250 a month...for 6 years. Roy Lee - I bet you didn't know that Mr. Jackson buried Ethan's little dog in his garden and gave the dog a "funeral" while we all cried. And I'll never forget the time that Ethan picked Ms. Virginia's flowers. She forgave him. :-) They were like Grandparents to my kids and they always wanted to keep up with them, even after we moved away. I was sad to get my Christmas card back in the mail today that I sent to Mr. Jackson last week. The kids and I loved them so much and we know that they loved us too. Our thoughts are prayers are with you. Lisa, Zachary, Rebecca, and Ethan.

We were sorry to hear about Roy's passing and didn't learn about it until it was too late to attend funeral. We thought highly of Roy. I remember the time he loaned me his pick-up so I could take my driving test. He always had a smile on his face and will be missed.

You could trust him with your last dollar and he'd do anything to help someone. Roy Lee, please know that the girls and I are praying for you during this difficult time. Roy was an extraordinary man. He truly was the greatest Christian man we have ever known. His wonderful smile, always present, would bring joy to all he met. We never heard him, in the many years we knew him, speak poorly about anyone. His community service was an inspiration to all. Roy and Virginia were the perfect married couple and we adored both of them. Our prayers are with Roy Lee and all of Roy's relatives and friends. With Love, Russ & Rainy Laycox & Luedell Kley.

Roy Lee, I was very saddened when I heard about Roy passing away. I always watched Roy when I was growing up, and he taught me how to deal with people and meeting the public. Roy never knew he was teaching me about people, but I learned more from him than anyone will ever know. Roy was a special friend to me and my Mother Hazel Foley Bond, I shall never forget him and his kindness. Roy Lee, I am glad I got to see you at City when I was visiting Roy in April. The last time I remember seeing you, you were a little boy standing the in the front yard with your Mother. I also found the correlation about your Mother and Father's age and timimg of their deaths very interesting. GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR FAMILY.
