Nanna Viola Reed

93 a resident of Pryor, Oklahoma passed away January 2, 2022 peacefully in her sleep.

Nanna was born on May 20,1928 in Lincoln, Arkansas, to Mary Viola (Mensch) Knox and Irwin Knox.

She grew up and attended school in Lincoln, Arkansas. She married Kenneth E. Reed on October 20, 1945. They were happily married for 57 years.

Nanna V. was a member of the United Pentecostal Church and served the church for many years in many different roles. Her greatest treasure was spending time with her friends and family. Nanna loved people and serving others.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Mary Knox and Irwin Knox; her husband Kenneth Reed; her son, David Reed; her brother, Irvin Knox; and her granddaughter, Heather Pearl.

Surviving her in death are her sisters, Fannie Fletcher and Ann Smith; her daughters, Karen Elaine Packebush and Yvonne Cleveland and husband Steve Cleveland; her three grandchildren, Kenny Packebush and wife Theresa Packebush, Danny Packebush and wife Margaret Packebush, and Jennifer Watkins and husband Travis Watkins; her eight great-great grandchildren, Terrence Bonds, Taylor Packebush, Destinee Packebush, Madison Packebush, Knox Watkins, Reed Packebush, Emma Watkins and Kenny Packebush; and many other nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral service will be at 10:00 AM Saturday, January 8, 2022 at Luginbuel Chapel with Reverend Dennis Nance officiating. Burial will be in Reese Cemetery, there will be no graveside service held.

There will be a small reception at The Sanctuary United Pentecostal Church located at 310 Lincoln Avenue in Lincoln, Arkansas after the funeral to celebrate Nanna’s life.
