Nana was a beautiful lady! Physically, nana was always a striking lady, but she had a heart of gold like no other. Nana would do anything for her family and was always there when you needed her. Even when I needed her after moving to Arkansas from Mississippi and she gave me a place to live. Nana will always have a special place in my heart and I will miss her deeply! Love you nana - Rest in peace!
Heather Weeks - Great Niece
Though we lived states apart Aunt Nancy *Nana* was ALWAYS there for me. Nana knew more about me then anyone could. She gave me the best advice and would tell me when I was wrong without batting an eye. Though we didn't see Nana as much as I would have liked, I talked with her. She was one of my best friends and will be missed more than realized, not to just me, not to just the family but to many many others. Love you Nana Nancy!!
Elizabeth Sampson - Great-Niece

I knew Nancy when Teresa was her only child and a little girl. "Aunt Nancy" as I called her would drive to Memphis to see her brother, Verl, and his family. I lived with Verl and Inez Hall ("Mama and Daddy" to me)until they passed away when I was a teenager. "Aunt Nancy" would wash my hair in the kitchen sink and fix it for me. I always thought she was pretty and had a natural beauty. She was fun to be around, always spoke her mind and was kind to me. I was sorry to hear of her death because I knew it would be a great loss to so many. I was so glad to see the family memories video and see that she lived a full life, rich with family that loved her. My prayers are with all of you. May you find comfort in your memories and the knowledge that you will see her again one day.
