Obituary

Michael Lee Patrick

Age 73, a resident of Prairie Grove, Arkansas, passed away Thursday, April 18, 2019 at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville, Arkansas. He was born May 10, 1945 in Prairie Grove, the son of Herbert Howard and Cornia Elizabeth (Collins) Patrick.

Michael retired from the National Guard after 30 years of service, he was a member of the 2nd 142 Field Artillery Brigade. He served in Desert Storm and participated in the early beginning of Homeland Security. During his military career he received numerous awards including the Bronze Star.

He was an outdoors man who loved fishing, hunting and gardening. He and Sharon traveled the United States for the Fair Ministry with Amazing Grace Missions. He was a Gideon and loved sharing the gospel of Christ with everyone that would listen.

Michael was a member of the Howe\Savoy Bible Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother Robert Howard Patrick and wife Kathy and one great grandson Oliver "Ollie" Don Skelton.

Survivors include his wife of 55 years Sharon Eversoll Patrick; one son Vance Patrick and his wife Angie; one daughter Dana Hudgens and her husband Mark; three sisters Dorothy McComas, Mary Cabiness and Martha Brock and her husband Johnny; six grandchildren Stephanie Hudgens, Kayla Brannan, Lindsey Skelton and her husband Richard, Ashley Patrick, Mikken Patrick and Sambrea Patrick; six great grandchildren Dalton and Braden Hudgens, Caiden, Madilynn and Polly Brannan and Lea Patrick.

The family will receive friends Monday evening from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Luginbuel Funeral Home.

Funeral service will be held 10:00 AM Tuesday, April 23rd, 2019, at Luginbuel Chapel in Prairie Grove. Burial will be in the Beaty Cemetery, there will be no graveside service held.
