Obituary

Melba Rae Hunter

85, a resident of West Fork, Arkansas, passed away July 11, 2010 in Prairie Grove, Arkansas. She was born February 1, 1925 at Bearden, Oklahoma, the daughter of Lawrence Earl and Mary Blanton Speir.

Melba was a long-standing member of the Church of Christ.

Survivors include her husband of sixty-seven years, Ted Hunter of the home; one son, Roger Hunter of Prairie Grove, Arkansas; three daughters, Gina Danielson of West Fork, Arkansas, Becky Pratt of Lincoln, Arkansas, and Susan Stone of Bakersfield, California; two sisters, Treeva Cowan of New Mexico, and Mary Lou Whitehead of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; eleven grandchildren Scott Seaman, Brett Seaman, Keri Fershtman, Angie Lopez, Mandy Allen, Amy Scott, Taylor Hunter, Kyle Hunter, Kristin Harrington, Kevin Stone, and Eric Stone and seventeen great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, July 14, 2010 - 10:00 A.M. at the Luginbuel Chapel Prairie Grove, Arkansas, with Wendell Beale officiating. Burial will be in the National Cemetery Fayetteville, Arkansas.
