Mary Elizabeth Kathleen Barker Jameson
91, a long time resident of Cane Hill, Arkansas passed away November 5, 2008 at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville, Arkansas. She was born January 6, 1917 in Welch, Oklahoma, the daughter of Artemus B. and Nora Thornton Barker.
She was a member of the First Christian Church of Muskogee, Oklahoma, since 1927. She was a homemaker, wife, mother and a long time resident of the area.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Jameson, one daughter, Patricia Jameson; one brother, Robert Burns Barker and one sister, Alma Semonian; two granddaughters, Patricia Wise and Heidi Wise.
Survivors include two sons, Marvin Charles Jameson Jr. of Webbers Falls, Oklahoma and David Jameson of Prairie Grove, Arkansas; one daughter, Elizabeth Kathleen Johnson of Dallas, Texas; one sister, Jenna Mae Williams of Webbers Falls, Oklahoma; eight grandchildren, Erin Nauta, Leslie McDonald, Charles Scott Jameson, Cheri Jameson, Christi Jameson, Terry Jameson, Karen Jameson and Mary Jameson. seven great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews;
Visitation will be Friday, November 7 from 12:00-8:00 P.M. with the family receiving friends from 7:00-8:00 P.M.
Funeral Service will be held Saturday, November 8, 2008 at 2:00 P.M. Bethesda Cemetery Morrow, Arkansas with burial in Bethesda Cemetery in Morrow, Arkansas.
